Vaughn Public Library Foundation

The Vaughn Public Library Foundation was founded in December 1988, due to a generous former resident of Ashland. The foundation accepts gifts of money, bequests, and other tax deductible donations and exists exclusively to benefit the Vaughn Public Library.  Contact the Library for more information about the Vaughn Public Library Foundation.


Volunteers play a unique role in the library.  If you are interested in giving time and energy to the Vaughn Library, please complete the Volunteer Application and drop it off or email it to the library director.  Students interested in becoming a volunteer may complete the student application.  If your organization is interested in helping out as a team, please complete the organization application.

Friends of the Vaughn

The Friends of the VPL are a nonprofit 501(c) 3 group who advocate and support the library through programming, fundraising and managing the Book Nook.  Located on the ground floor, the Book Nook is a used book shop run by volunteers. Learn more about becoming a “Friend of the Vaughn” by attending a Friends meeting or visiting the Book Nook and talking with the Friends.  


Donations to the Library are accepted at the discretion of the Library Board.Donations for memorials will be recognized with a bookplate as requested by the donor.Contact the Library Director for more information.
